Following the directives by the President of the Republic of Ghana on the reopening of educational institutions for final year students to enable them to complete their programmes of studies, the Academic Board at an Emergency Meeting held on 10th June 2020, decided that:

  1. The ongoing online teaching and learning programme as decided by the Board at an Extra-Ordinary Meeting held on 21st April 2020 should continue.
  2. However, Final Year Students have the option of arranging for face-to-face mop-up lectures on campus from 18th June to 7th July 2020.
  3. Class Representatives of all Final Year Courses should liaise with their colleagues and their lecturers, and agree on various schedules. That is, if they choose the option of face-to-face mop-up lectures.
  4. Final Year Students would have a face-to-face examination on campus from 15th to 31st July 2020.
  5. Continuing Students except HND would have an online examination from 8th to 21st August 2020.
  6. The revised Academic Calendar, the mode of online examination, and guidelines for online examination are attached. These documents can also be downloaded from the University website.
  7. Students with any challenge relating to the University’s Virtual Class System should contact the Helpdesk on the following numbers during normal working hours: 0593622661; 0593622664; 0593622665; 0593622666; 0593622668; 0501427564; 0501427568; 0501427580; 0501427498 and 0501427502.
  8. The COVID-19 Team will ensure that the necessary safety protocols are in place before the arrival of students and during face-to-face mop-up lectures.

Thank you.
