KsTU Welcomes New Chinese Lecturer

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has held a ceremony to welcome the new Chinese lecturer Mr. TU Santang, who has come to replace Madam Wing Ping who taught Chinese at the Chinese Language Centre of KsTU for two years. In his welcome remarks, the Vice-Chancellor of KsTU Prof. N.N.N Nsowah-Nuamah reiterated that the Institution would continue to support the Chinese lecturer and make his work in the Institution a memorable one. Miss Che Wen Ping whose position Mr. Tu Santang has come to occupy was transferred to the University of Ghana (Legon).

Mr. Tu Santang on his part expressed his sincere gratitude to the Institution for the warm reception and also thanked the University for the opportunity to serve. The Chinese lecturer who was full of excitement exclaimed that “I like the environment and I am very lucky to be part of the staff”. He further pledged to do his utmost best to serve the members of the university community as well as anybody who wishes to study the Chinese language.

He finally expressed optimism that the Institution would in the near future make it possible for people to major in the Chinese language.
